I'm a Philly-bred, pasta-loving, proud-dog-owning person.  I also love alliteration. 

Growing up in the Philadelphia suburbs, I developed a great love of all things food, theatre, culture and writing. I try to incorporate my passions into everything that I do. I manage a food Instagram (@foodbaegoals), participate and choreograph every musical I can get my hands on, volunteer and work with kids at my camp and multiple synagogues, and lastly, pursue a journalistic career.

I was lucky enough to realize how much I loved journalism early in my life. I started writing for my school newspaper in middle school on a whim, and stuck with writing ever since. I knew going into college that I wanted to capture and share moments and information for the rest of my life, so I am lucky enough to have ended up in the perfect place for that at the Medill School of Journalism, Media and Integrated Marketing Communications.

Being a journalist is like having a pass to delve into the most interesting events, learn about the most novel and unique parts of society and share everything you’ve learned with anyone who ‘clicks’ it. I have had so many incredible opportunities by way of wearing a 'journalist' hat, and I have loved every minute of it. I've tasted dozens of mac & cheese creations at a festival that I covered, tried out all sorts of exercise classes and tested different virtual reality programs in Evanston.
